Woodstock Sterile Solutions Names Oliver Vogt as VP and General Manager

Will be responsible for Woodstock’s manufacturing business as well as leading its supply chain and site operations.

Woodstock Sterile Solutions, a blow-fill-seal (BFS) contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has appointed Oliver Vogt as its vice president and general manager – Site Operations. Vogt previously served as general manager for Woodstock and its predecessor, Catalent, for the past three years.

“Oliver has done a tremendous job as general manager helping us to stabilize our supply chain and strengthen our site operations, and I look forward to his continued success and partnering with him as a key member of our leadership team,” said Woodstock Sterile Solutions CEO Paul Josephs, whom Vogt will report to in his new role. “Woodstock became an independent company less than two months ago, and we are moving quickly to build our management team with leaders who have the experience and knowledge to help us build our organization into the leader of the blow-fill-seal industry.”

In his new role, Vogt is responsible for Woodstock’s manufacturing business as well as leading its supply chain and site operations, including new product development and customer service.

Experience

Vogt has a diverse background in engineering and leadership roles dating back more than a quarter of a century that will help him to excel in his new position. Before joining Catalent, he served as the general manager of Chicago Operations for Adello Biologics; the vice president of Manufacturing Operations for Merz North America; director of Global Process and Equipment Engineering for Hospira, and he also had stints at TEVA Pharmaceuticals and Abbott Laboratories.

“Our customers come to us because we have expertise in BFS development and commercial manufacturing. Right now, there are more than 40 active programs we are involved in with our customers, and over the next three years, we are working to launch more than ten new products. It is a great time to start in my new role as vice president and general manager, and I appreciate the opportunity to build on the success of the organization,” said Vogt.
