Halo Pharmaceutical has named Allen M. Rosenston vice president of business development. He has 35 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and joins the company from Abbott Laboratories, where he held various roles in operations, business development, and related business functions.

“The addition of Al to the Halo business development team is a significant achievement. Al has deep experience within the pharmaceutical industry. He developed Abbott’s domestic Contract Pharmaceutical Manufacturing business unit and, at the time of his retirement, he was responsible for the global finished goods contract manufacturing business,” according to Mohd Asif, Halo’s chief financial officer.

Halo provides formulation services, operations for the aseptic filling of topical ointments, solid dosage forms, liquids, suppositories, associated packaging and ample lab space for formulation development, clinical supplies and support of commercial operations.
