The Almac Group, headquartered in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, has been named ‘Business of the Year’ by Northern Ireland’s main daily newspaper, The Belfast Telegraph in association with BMI.

The Almac Group, headquartered in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, has been named ‘Business of the Year’ by Northern Ireland’s main daily newspaper, The Belfast Telegraph in association with BMI. The company was recognized for its contribution to the economy and growing success in competing in global markets. As one of the largest exporters in Northern Ireland, the company also won the category for ‘Excellence in Exporting Achievement’.

Almac Group’s chief executive officer, Alan Armstrong commented, “Winning the ‘Excellence in Export Achievement’ was a great accomplishment for Almac at Northern Ireland’s main business awards, but to be recognized as our local economy’s top business will be remembered as a milestone in Almac’s development for many years to come.”
