Dalton MedChem Receives NIDA Research Grant

Aims to identify candidates to treat drug abuse and pain

Dalton Medicinal Chemistry has received a grant from the National Institute On Drug Abuse (NIDA) to research and discover a series of compounds with the potential to treat drug abuse and pain. Dalton will design, synthesize and test several novel classes of compounds with the goal of identifying candidates for further development.
 
Judd Berman, co-founder of Dalton Medicinal Chemistry, said, “It is exceptionally exciting to receive notice of this competitive award from National Institute On Drug Abuse (NIDA) which germinated from the creative insights of the talented scientists at Dalton. We are delighted to have the opportunity to initiate and conduct this important research.”
