DKSH Business Unit Healthcare, a market expansion services provider for healthcare companies looking to grow their business in Asia, has opened the new cold room built to store high volume bulky pharmaceutical products at its Hutchison Logistics Center.

Being authorized by the Hong Kong Department of Health, the new cold room has the same security alarm system and temperature sensor alarms as the existing cold room, and both are compliant with international quality standards from the World Health Organization (WHO), including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP).

For vaccine and diagnostic reagents storage, a new freezer room is in operation as of December 1, 2014. The new freezer room is ISO certified, EC full quality assurance certified and has an internal and external alarm system.
