Kristine Senft has been appointed vice president sales and marketing at Hovione. Ms. Senft succeeds Mr. Dave Hoffman vice president sales and business development, who will retire in April 2016. She is based in East Windsor, NJ, and reports to Guy Villax, Hovione’s chief executive officer.

Ms. Senft previously served in various roles as a business unit director at DSM Biomedical and served as senior vice president of marketing and sales, DSM Pharmaceutical Chemicals, where she led both regional and global marketing and sales organizations, and worked with many top global pharma and biopharma companies. She also worked for Albemarle Corp. in sales and business management roles in its Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceutical API businesses.
 
She is an active supporter of the Drug, Chemical and Associated Technologies Association (DCAT), DCAT Week and has recently served on the DCAT Board of Directors.
