VWR, a provider of product and service solutions to laboratory and production customers, has acquired PAW BioScience Products, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of sanitary fluid handling products used in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and diagnostic industries. PAW’s primary business operations focus on single-use connectors and components, custom design and assembly and product distribution supporting the cell culture and purification processes. Financial details were not disclosed.

“Complementing our existing single-use product and service offering, PAW will be a great addition to the VWR team,” said Manuel Brocke-Benz, president and chief executive officer of VWR. “VWR bioprocessing customers will now have access to an even broader range of innovative products in our single-use portfolio, including the PAW SterilEnz and OmniTop Sample Tubes lines.”

PAW serves customers across the U.S. and is based in Eatontown, NJ.
