Envigo’s contract research facilities in Barcelona, Spain have been accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International Council, having met all the conditions required and maintaining a high quality program of lab animal care and use.
 
This is Envigo’s fourth AAALAC accreditation in 2016 for its contract research and research models sites.
 
The company recently built a new surgery room and refurbished several key areas used for contract research and animal boarding, as well as installed new facility monitoring systems. The investments provide additional capacity and flexibility for research studies.
