Simon Harford has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of PAREXEL, effective June 1, 2017. He will serve on the company’s Business Review Committee and assist in developing and implementing strategic objectives. Mr. Harford will be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA.

Mr. Harford joins the company from GlaxoSmithKline, where he most recently served as senior vice president of finance for the company’s Global Pharmaceuticals business based in Brentford, England. Prior to GSK, Mr. Harford served as group vice president and controller for Avon Products, Inc., in New York. Additionally, he spent two decades with Eli Lilly and Co. in various finance leadership roles.
