DCAT Week ’17 will take place March 20 – 23, in New York City. DCAT Week is a global business development event for companies engaged in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing and related industries. Organized and hosted by the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) to assist its member companies with their business development objectives, the event brings together members for high-level strategic meetings with key decision makers, timely educational programs and networking opportunities.
The following DCAT Week education programs focus on providing objective, relevant, and high-quality market and business intelligence and insight on issues impacting the pharmaceutical development and manufacturing value chain. The education programs are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of DCAT Week.

The DCAT Member Company Announcement Forum will be held Monday, March 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Juilliard, Omni Berkshire. The Forum was launched in 2016 and provides a platform for member companies to make major industry announcements on strategy developments, mergers and acquisitions, post-M&A integration, and key manufacturing expansion activity. The Announcement Forum consists of short presentations of no more than 10 minutes, including Q&A, by senior executives of DCAT Registered Member Companies highlighting recent major decisions.
The new venue for the 91st DCAT Annual Dinner will be the Grand Ballroom of the New York Hilton located at 53rd St. and 6th Avenue on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00 p.m. The move to this new location will consolidate guests into one spacious room designed for a great view from any vantage point for the industry’s flagship event. Transportation to and from the event will be available from all Official DCAT Week Hotels.
The guest speaker for Dinner will be David Cameron, Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Mr. Cameron served as Prime Minister from 2010 to 2016, leading Britain’s first Coalition Government in nearly 70 years and, at the 2015 General Election, forming the first majority Conservative Government in the UK for over two decades.
The evening will also feature special guest Craig Ferguson, an Emmy Award-Winning TV Host and Comedian. Mr. Ferguson is best known as the host of CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, as well as a diverse career in film, television, and on stage. Mr. Ferguson can currently be seen on the nationally syndicated game show Celebrity Name Game, for which he was recently awarded the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host.
New Locations:
New for 2017, there will be more Member Lounges and a larger inventory of meeting spaces at Official DCAT Week Hotels. Due to the Waldorf’s extensive renovation project, the traditional business meeting spaces, education programs, lounges and other events will be moved to the following official DCAT Week Hotels: The Lotte NY Palace; The Omni Berkshire Place; The Hotel 48LEX; The Benjamin; The InterContinental NY Barclay; The NY Marriott East Side; The Lexington New York City; The Doubletree Metropolitan.
