Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing Names QC VP

Wigington to assume responsibility for analytical and microbiological activities

P. Devin Wigington has been promoted to vice president of Quality Control at Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing. BSM provides sterile filling and formulation services for clinical scale and small volume commercial drug and sterile medical devices. Mr. Wigington will assume responsibility for analytical and microbiological activities at the company’s cGMP facility, which uses isolators for filling to ensure the highest sterility assurance for their client’s programs. 

“Devin has been a key part of the senior management team, and we are thrilled to promote him to this important position,” said Shawn Kinney, chief executive officer of BSM.
Mr. Wigington joined the company in 2016 as senior director of Quality Control. He previously served as director of Quality Control and Analytical Methods Development at VaxInnate. Prior to VaxInnate, he held QC management positions at ImClone Systems, Enzon Pharmaceuticals and Chesapeake Biological Laboratories.
