Maruho Hatsujyo Innovations (MHI), the U.S. subsidiary of Maruho Co. Ltd, has appointed Benjamin Voelcker to serve as Applications Engineer. In addition to package design, in this role Mr. Voelcker will handle sales engineering and marketing relations as well as ensure that MHI is capitalizing on industry application trends.

Mr. Voelcker brings considerable application design solution expertise to his new position. Most recently, he served two years as Applications Engineer for ARC Technology Solutions, which specializes in testing solutions, manufacturing services, torque and assembly tools. Prior to that, he was a component engineering specialist for Bose and a mechanical designer for CDI Engineering Solutions.
MHI focuses on versatile blister machines. For example, its compact EAGLE-Omni offers a format area of 150x95mm and a forming depth of 30mm (upgrade to 40mm available), making it capable of everything from manual prototyping to fully automated operation.
