Adds new manufacturing plant, customized R&D labs for liquids and solid dosage supplements, and additional warehousing.

Vetio has expanded its Jupiter, FL site with the addition of a new 35,000 square foot manufacturing plant, customized R&D labs for liquids and solid dosage supplements, and additional warehousing. The expansion supports the company’s growing liquid dermatology business and marks the introduction of Vetio into solid dosage supplement contract development and manufacturing for animal health. The manufacturing facility will produce powders, tablets and soft chews and the space will also include R&D labs and warehousing. Vetio’s soft chew supplements will incorporate technology from its Montreal, QC site, where it develops and commercializes veterinary drug products for companion animals. These technologies include its full line of palatants and its soft chew formulation and process. Vetio’s Jupiter and Montreal technical teams are working in unison to develop and scale up powders, tablets, and soft chews. Mike Smith, VP business development at Vetio, said, “We have responded to strong market demand for quality service and manufacturing of animal health supplements, particularly soft chews. The Vetio soft chews are highly palatable and offer excellent texture and stability over shelf life.” Smith continued, “We are actively marketing our services for solid dosage supplement development and manufacturing in parallel with the build out, including technical transfers and new product developments.” “We are moving quickly to complete the facility build out, leveraging subject matter experts across our two development and manufacturing sites for project execution. We anticipate operational readiness later this year,” David LeResche, COO of Vetio, added. “In addition to new manufacturing capabilities, we are expanding warehouse operations to improve efficiency and accommodate business growth.” Smith concluded, “Adding supplement development and manufacturing capabilities further solidifies Vetio’s commitment to the global Animal Health industry.”
