John Foster, BSc, MBA has joined Frontage Laboratories Inc., as executive director, regional head of sales, West.
 
In this role, Foster will be accountable for overseeing the business development efforts in the western United States. He will be focused on supporting the company’s Safety and Toxicology and Bioanalytical business segments.
 
Foster has over 30 years of experience in business development and 17 years in the drug development industry. He has extensive business development experience in the pharmaceutical, medical equipment and the contract research sector.  His acumen is a blend of preclinical and clinical research, clinical trial insight, and business development competency. Foster’s experience includes working with venture capital, virtual start-ups and strategic account management with large pharma.
 
Prior to joining Frontage, Foster served as Charles Rivers’ executive business development director on the West Coast.  Previously he was a global key account director and senior account director at Covance Laboratories for 11 years.
 
Foster graduated from California State University of Chico in 1987.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.  In 1997 he attended Golden Gate University in San Francisco and received an MBA in 1999 with a concentration in Management.
