TMC Expands Executive Team

Stewart Sharpe gets chief commercial officer post.

TMC Pharma Services (TMC), a global organization supporting pharma and biopharma companies in developing innovative treatments for rare diseases and oncology, has strengthened its team with several new senior hires.
 
Stewart Sharpe was appointed chief commercial officer, with responsibility for overseeing the company’s continued UK and international success, with a number of new strategic relationships developed in North America, Asia, EU, and the Middle East, as well as in the UK.

Sharpe has a successful track record leading pharma organizations, building teams and launching pharma brands worldwide. He brings extensive experience to the role, having previously been vice president global commercial lead at Syneos Health, where he led and developed client-focused, fully integrated solutions for every stage of product development and commercialization.

Rondeep Bhui has been appointed head of strategic planning, joining the company from Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica GmbH where he was Head of Global Pharmacovigilance. Bhui has considerable experience in human and veterinary medicines developing strategic transformation solutions in the areas of Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and Clinical Research.

TMC has also named Victoria Datsenko as vice president clinical services and Marcelo Vaz as head of medical services. Bringing more than 20 years’ development experience within global clinical research, Datsenko’s expertise covers all clinical trial phases across a broad range of therapies, with particular strength in oncology, cell, and gene therapy. Vaz was previously a head of medical affairs at ICON plc, where he developed clinical research expertise across a range of respiratory diseases, including COPD, asthma, and lung cancer.
