Scorpius has created a stand-alone building for microbial biomanufacturing on its campus in San Antonio, Texas. With ~3,200 sq. ft. dedicated to microbial cGMP biomanufacturing, the microbial facility is comprised of two segregated Grade C cleanroom suites, upstream and downstream, featuring modular design and dedicated air handling units. It utilizes single-use technologies to mitigate contamination risk and to speed up suite turnaround between production runs.
