IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC (IPS) (Booth 2132), a global engineering, construction, commissioning and qualification services company for pharma/biopharma and life sciences industries, has expanded in Europe with the appointments of Nigel Barnes, Daryn Jenkins and Gareth Davies. The new team will lead IPS’ EMEA regional operations headquartered in Birmingham, UK, with a second office in Basel, Switzerland.
Mr. Barnes is the managing director of IPS' EMEA operations. He has 30 years of experience managing engineering and construction projects as well as managing manufacturing operations. Mr. Barnes previously held leadership positions with GSK, where he was employed for over 18 years. Recently, he served as the managing director for a large global engineering firm.
Mr. Jenkins brings more than 25 years of experience sponsoring and delivering projects in the pharma/biopharma and food industries. Mr. Jenkins is a an executive with a focus on how to ensure projects are delivered to meet clients' expectations throughout the EMEA Region.
Mr. Davies has 30 years of experience in operating, designing and project managing manufacturing facilities, including biopharma, chemical, food, and energy projects. In addition, he has led business innovation and improvement initiatives and operated as managing director in the UK, Europe and China.
Also, Allister Sly leads business development for the EMEA Region. He has 20 years of engineering and construction experience in life sciences industry. Mr. Oliver Mücke is a subject matter expert in biotechnology providing front-end engineering as well as full service leadership to IPS’ EMEA clients. He was previously with Wyeth, where he developed a strong knowledge base in manufacturing operations.
