Francois Chouinard, Ph.D., has been appointed director of business development for R&D and Formulation at Ropack Pharma Solutions (Booth 1140). Dr. Chouinard will report to Paul Dupont, vice president of marketing and business development.
 
Dr. Chouinard will focus on business development for the drug development facilities in Long Island, NY, purchased by RPS and most recently operated by Forest Labs.
 
Dr. Chouinard has more than 20 years of experience in the generic, contract development and biopharma industries, developing more than 30 solid dose products for the Canadian and European markets. Prior to joining RPS, he served as executive director of product development at Halo Pharmaceutical’s Montreal location, where he was involved in new business development opportunities and product development management.
