Editor’s Take: A full CPHI recap, plus a preview of what’s to come on our site.

This week on “The Friday Brief” … The most headline-worthy development out of this year’s CPHI Americas was from CPHI and organizer Informa Markets itself. The conference will be moving to Miami for the 2027 edition. That’s of course in addition to CPHI Worldwide, which is back in Milan this fall, and other annual global events.

This Week’s Latest

As most major shows do, CPHI took up a lot of the industry’s attention this week. But there is still other news to report. Haisco launched a licensing and research collaboration with Lilly to develop innovative medicines in multiple therapeutic areas. Dow has entered a long-term agreement for Univar Solutions to distribute its Decarbia low-carbon products. Circio and GenAssist have a research collaboration in place for AAV vectors for in-vivo cell therapy and targeted gene therapy.

Late in the week Natera and CytoDyn reached an agreement to generate molecular and real-world data supporting a metastatic colorectal cancer program. Cellares and TScan Therapeutics have agreed to evaluate automated clinical manufacturing of a TCR-T therapy candidate for acute myeloid leukemia.

Elsewhere, Intravacc and Primrose Bio renewed their conjugate vaccine development partnership. Aragen has tech transferred and manufactured commercial-scale GMP batches of Renaissance Pharma’s lead candidate for neuroblastoma. Servier agreed to acquire Edgewise Therapeutics’ muscular dystrophy business. And T-CURX acquired Pantherna Therapeutics to boost clinical validation of in-vivo CAR-T therapies.
