Powder containment and aseptic transfer valve specialist, ChargePoint Technology, has opened a new facility just outside of Munich, Germany as it continues its growth strategy in the DACH region.

The new 75 square meter site, which will support customers in the region with onsite consultations, virtual demonstrations and technical support, comes on the back of a significant increase in demand for ChargePoint’s technology in the region. ChargePoint creates containment and aseptic transfer valves and single-use solutions that are essential for the safe transfer of powders, during pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Patrick Werner will remain regional manager for the DACH region. His role includes heading up the facility to assist customers with ChargePoint’s key product offerings.

“We have seen significant growth at ChargePoint Technology over the past few years and the opening of the DACH site means we are closer to our customers in Europe,” said Werner. “We will also be close to one of Germany’s biggest airports in Munich enabling us to carry out face-to-face meetings with customers for training and consultations. We will also continue to offer virtual demonstrations from the new facility.”

Chris Eccles, CEO at ChargePoint Technology, said, “In the last four years we have tripled our order intake in the region and I’m sure this growth will continue with Patrick and the team now permanently based in the area. This new investment and expansion of the team in the DACH region demonstrates ChargePoint’s commitment to the region and our valued customers. We will continue to add the resources necessary to support our customer base in the territory as we grow.”

ChargePoint Technology has seen significant growth in its business in the last year and has also expanded the number of offices in the U.S. in addition to the acquisition of Terracon, a U.S.-based company providing single-use systems to the pharma liquid sector.
