BriaCell Taps FUJIFILM for Bria-IMT Manufacturing

Deal supports Phase 3 development and potential commercial supply of breast cancer cell therapy.

BriaCell Therapeutics Corp. has entered into a manufacturing arrangement with FUJIFILM Biotechnologies California to support the pivotal Phase 3 development of Bria-IMT and potential future commercial supply of the therapy.

Bria-IMT, BriaCell’s lead clinical candidate, is an off-the-shelf allogeneic cell therapy being evaluated in combination with an immune checkpoint inhibitor for advanced metastatic breast cancer.

“Securing manufacturing capacity with FUJIFILM, a global leader in cell therapy manufacturing, represents a key milestone in our Bria-IMT development and potential commercialization strategy as we work toward our goal of bringing this novel immunotherapy candidate to patients with metastatic breast cancer,” said William V.
