BriaCell Therapeutics Corp. has entered into a manufacturing arrangement with FUJIFILM Biotechnologies California to support the pivotal Phase 3 development of Bria-IMT and potential future commercial supply of the therapy.
Bria-IMT, BriaCell’s lead clinical candidate, is an off-the-shelf allogeneic cell therapy being evaluated in combination with an immune checkpoint inhibitor for advanced metastatic breast cancer.
“Securing manufacturing capacity with FUJIFILM, a global leader in cell therapy manufacturing, represents a key milestone in our Bria-IMT development and potential commercialization strategy as we work toward our goal of bringing this novel immunotherapy candidate to patients with metastatic breast cancer,” said William V. Williams, MD, President and CEO of BriaCell.
