Anthony Fiordaliso, M.B.A., C.P.A., has been promoted to vice president, Americas Finance, Astellas. He reports to Stephen Knowles, senior vice president, Finance and Information Technology.

Mr. Fiordaliso will oversee managerial reporting and budgeting, financial planning and analysis, revenue forecasting and recognition, collaboration finance and expense management for Astellas Americas, which includes U.S., Canada, Brazil, Colombia and the rest of Latin America.

Previously, Fiordaliso served as executive director, Commercial Finance. Prior to joining Astellas, Fiordaliso held operations and finance positions of increasing responsibility culminating in the role of director, U.S. Financial Operations, at Schering-Plough, now Merck. 

“Since joining Astellas in March 2010, Tony has held positions of increasing responsibility and has made significant contributions to our Finance organization in the Americas,” said Mr. Knowles. “Tony’s depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in finance related to the pharmaceutical industry position him well for his new role.”
