Ology Bioservices has appointed Brandon Brega as chief operating officer, effective immediately. 

In this newly created position, Mr. Brega will lead manufacturing and operations at the company’s 183,000 square foot Department of Defense Advanced Development and Manufacturing (ADM) facility in Alachua, FL.

“With over 20 years of experience, including, plant management and technical operations, Brandon will apply his skills to further expand our capabilities in cGMP manufacturing and facility operations,” said Peter Khoury, president and chief executive officer, Ology Bioservices. “Brandon’s depth of expertise in vaccine and biological manufacturing, in particular, and his proven track record of achieving efficient operations, will be instrumental as we continue to enhance our operational performance and overall product quality.”

Prior to joining Ology, Mr. Brega served in various positions at Merck & Co., most recently as associate vice president, plant management at the company’s Durham, NC location—the largest vaccines-only facility in Merck’s network. Prior to joining Merck, Mr. Brega worked for a number of animal health manufacturers including Pfizer.
