Brian Sasaki has joined Pharmaceutics International Inc. (Pii) as the director of business development.
 
Sasaki has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is responsible for Pii’s business development operations in the Western Region of the United States.
 
Sasaki brings a vast range of scientific experience helping clients advance pharmaceutical products. His addition to the Pii team is part of a strategic effort to deliver better results faster for customers by reimagining the drug development process using phase-appropriate methods and outcomes-oriented collaboration.
 
Sasaki began his career as a bench scientist with Bayer Corporation. His range of experiences includes roles with Pfizer, Takeda/Abbott, GE, Lonza, Catalent, and Rapid Micro Biosystems. He has been at the center of solving some of the industry’s most vexing problems with innovative thinking throughout his career.  Working with client drug sponsors and using his skills to help them accomplish their objectives is his passion.
 
Sasaki earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, with a Minor in Chemistry, at San Jose State University.
