Kwan Goo Edmond (Ed) Cho has been appointed president of Harlan Korea. Mr. Cho will have full profit and loss responsibility and overall accountability for the Harlan Contract Research Services (CRS) business serving the Korean chemical, agrochemical and pharmaceutical markets.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Cho was director of market access and business development for Zuellig Pharma Korea, which provides contract services and clinical reach to multinational companies in more than 15 countries. He also held sales, marketing and management positions of increasing responsibility with LG Life Sciences, Ltd., and served in the Special Forces of the Korean Army.

“Dr. Cho was selected to provide leadership to our Korean organization in an increasingly competitive and complex commercial, regulatory and technical environment because he has a proven ability to work across departments,” said Eric Hess, Harlan CRS vice president of commercial operations. “We are confident Dr. Cho can plan and execute strategies to provide top-quality service to the Korean markets.”
