The addition aims to compliment the wide range of pharmaceutical services provided under the Woodfield corporate umbrella including a logistics services provider, contract manufacturing and an own-label distributor.  Florida Pharmaceutical Products, Inc., focuses on improving patient outcomes with generic medications spanning a broad therapeutic range. The company was created in 1999 by the late Laurence Runsdorf who ran operations until his death in May, 2018.  Runsdorf, a leading figure in the development of the modern generic pharmaceutical industry, founded Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, Inc., and served as president until his retirement in 2014.  

 

Concurrent with the acquisition, Woodfield Distribution, LLC president Adam Runsdorf named Larry Lapila as president of Florida Pharmaceutical Products, Inc.  Lapila is a 35-year veteran in the generics industry with expertise in sales, marketing, business development, portfolio management and other executive functions including serving as president of a major generics company for the past 17 years.
