Symbiosis Pharmaceutical Services, a contract manufacturing organization (CMO) specializing in sterile manufacture of vaccines, pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, and headquartered in Stirling, UK, has appointed Jette Cowan as business development manager (BDM) for the Northern region of the European Union (EU).
 
As BDM, Ms. Cowan will be tasked with developing strategic relationships with new and existing clients across the Nordic region and Germany. Co-located in Denmark and the UK, she will apply her experience in commercial pharma drug development to engage new customers and deliver programs that enable clients to bring products quickly and successfully to market.

In the last two years Symbiosis has grown its sterile biologics manufacturing capabilities and invested over $1.9 million in its facility expansion, which doubled its physical footprint and provides additional aseptic manufacturing capacity.
 
Ms. Cowan brings to Symbiosis decades of business development success, plus key experience gained from roles with several prominent European life science companies. Equipped with an MSc in microbiology and chemistry, Jette has a consistent track record of creating and developing business opportunities and relationships across the industry.
