Shawn Cain, chief operating officer of LSNE, spoke with Contract Pharma at BIO 2018 about recent company news.

 

First, the contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially unveil and open a new QC laboratory and centralized warehouse. The new state-of-the-art facility will increase the company’s position as a full service provider and analytical testhouse for drug products, and will allow for longer term product storage services.

 

Second, the company has acquired a GMP aseptic fill/finish manufacturing facility. The 38,000 sq. ft. facility represents the company’s fourth GMP manufacturing site.
