Chief financial officer Mark T. Frost has been promoted to senior vice president, administration and chief financial officer, AMRI. In this expanded role, Mr. Frost will be responsible for finance and accounting, leadership for investor relations, sourcing, legal, communications, information technology, facility management and logistics. He will continue to report to chairman, chief executive officer and president Thomas E. D’Ambra, Ph.D. Mr. Frost joined the company as chief financial officer in December 2004.
“In recognition of Mark’s role in the organization and his contributions above and beyond a CFO’s responsibilities, I am pleased to announce this promotion,” said Dr. D’Ambra. “Mark has made significant contributions and provided important leadership to AMRI on multiple fronts as a member of the senior management team. Over the past four years, he has helped lead an increase in the profitability of our contract business, excluding Allegra, of over 340%.”
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Frost served as vice president of finance for Smith & Nephew Endoscopy, a global medical device division of S&N PLC. Prior to that, he spent 14 years in progressive positions at General Electric.
