Shawn Cain has been appointed to the newly created role of chief operating officer at Lyophilization Services of New England (LSNE). Mr. Cain will lead operations, quality, regulatory, and will drive the overall strategic growth of the company. He will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and will report to Matthew Halvorsen, president and chief executive officer of LSNE.
Mr. Cain joined LSNE in 2012 as vice president of sterile manufacturing. He brings 28 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries, and has held key management positions within operations at Organogenesis, Formatech, Arbios Systems, and Becton Dickinson.
"Shawn brings over 25 years of industry experience to the position and he has proven to be a trusted leader with a strong track record of manufacturing success. I have tremendous confidence in his ability to lead the company with a focus on customer experience coupled with regulatory compliance.
