Dennis J. Kinsey has been appointed director of business development at Pharma Tech Industries. Mr. Kinsey has more than 30 years of industry experience having served in supply chain and operations roles at companies including Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline’s Consumer Healthcare division, AstraZeneca, and, most recently, Insight Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Kinsey replaces Carl Oberg, who has retired after 13 years with the company. Mr. Oberg has helped Mr. Kinsey transition his sales and account management responsibilities, which involve developing and supervising account management employees and targeting new sales opportunities.
Mr. Kinsey will work closely with Rich Loughlin, vice president of strategic sales, and will play a major role in the company’s continued growth plans. Mr. Kinsey has collaborated with PTI for more than 10 years on the Caldescene powders brand during his 20 years at Insight Pharmaceuticals, where he most recently served as vice president of operations.
“Dennis brings an extensive level of experience and track record of high-level accomplishments to Pharma Tech, and will fit in well with our diverse team of pharmaceutical supply chain experts, engineers and executives,” said Tee Noland, chairman and chief executive officer of Pharma Tech Industries.
Additionally, Pharma Tech has undergone a major corporate rebranding initiative, added an analytical lab for both Rx and OTC drugs at its Royston, GA production facility, and is near completion on a multi-million-dollar expansion of its manufacturing plant in Union, MO.
