Catalent Pharma Solutions has joined the Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA), a new initiative founded by The Ethisphere Institute to promote ethical business practices. Catalent has aligned itself with other BELA members to promote core business ethics values. BELA’s goal is to establish a benchmark for ethical behavior in the corporate world by focusing on legal compliance, transparency, conflict identification and accountability.
“Becoming part of BELA formalizes our historical commitment to business ethics,” said Diane Duvall, vice president associate general counsel, Ethics and Compliance at Catalent. “BELA offers a unique opportunity to join with other like-minded companies that also recognize the connection between ethical business behavior and strong operating performance and brand. We are excited by the potential to improve the overall corporate environment and its public perception while learning and sharing best practices with the other members.”
“We are thrilled that Catalent has joined BELA as a strong advocate of these core principles,” said Alex Brigham, executive director of The Ethisphere Institute and founder of BELA. “We congratulate Catalent on the decision to take action by demonstrating a commitment to supporting responsible business practices and look forward to its contributions to BELA’s collaborative efforts to create a more ethical business environment for all.”
