Peng Zhang, MD, Ph.D., has been appointed lab manager at ACM Global’s newly opened lab facility in Shanghai. Dr. Zhang is responsible for managing and leading ACM Shanghai and all staff in the department. Her responsibilities include Quality Assurance and Control standards, overseeing the correct and safe use of all lab equipment, and monitoring financial information with the director of operations, Singapore and Shanghai, Chiew Yan Lee, Ph.D.
Prior to joining the company, she gained experience as a central lab manager at ADICON Clinical Laboratory, where she managed contracted projects, including logistics, IT, and lab support. She also served as a lecturer at Second Military Medical University, Shanghai’s department of Clinical Pathology, teaching Laboratory Diagnosis to undergraduate students.
