You need to know! Vetter experts will discuss their experience and knowledge about new syringe systems, disposable isolators, contamination control, and aseptic production at the 2014 Annual Pharma-Congress in Dusseldorf, March 25 & 26.
The annual Pharma Congress Production & Technology is known as THE get-together because of the important information and sharing of knowledge and ideas. This year, the Congress will feature four presentations by Vetter. Joerg Zimmerman, Director Process Development and Implementation will moderate a session on polymer-based Prefilled Syringes and also present a case study on March 25, at 11:00 am on the Daikyo Crystal Zenith system. The case study will include information on manufacturing experience and validation, development of a filling operation including product inspection and cleanliness, and media fill and results.
A second case study, March 26, 11:15 am, will feature a discussion on the use of a disposable isolator for the weighing process of high potential drug substance powder, including its advantages and disadvantages, development and setup and features, examples of process steps and regulatory/qualitative impact of this new compounding process.
A Vetter presentation will also take place on March 25, at 2:00 pm on a microbiological contamination control program for the aseptic production of parenteralia.
Finally, a third case study being presented on March 25, 11:00 am will feature OPEX in aseptic production and include characteristic numbers for production control (OEE, TAV, yield, MB-status, etc.), management of human errors, location-spreading process harmonization, and order-exact deviation analysis (quantity and time management).
